Render to audio bug (since 1.1.3?)
« on: September 27, 2011, 08:53:32 am »
Hi,

I updated to 1.1.3 yesterday, now, if I render a project from FL Studio 10, even if it only contains one pattern of Spark VST (using the FL Studio sequencer to trigger notes to Spark), it is completely out of sync. If I put a basic sampler kick next to the Spark pattern, the kick plays in sync, but Spark will not.

I have attached a basic sound example, only Spark is used, being triggered by notes from FL Studio sequencer.

I have tried many things to solve the problem within FL Studio (tried both 32bit and 64bit plugin and a variety of processing options for the plugin), all to no avail.

Spark is disabled in the midi (port) config, so this shouldn't be an issue.

What could possibly go wrong?

Hi martino,
I am not able to reproduce the issue so far.
Can you give me some details?
Does it happens every times you render?
Can you give me a hint to reproduce it?

Thanks for the effort so far.

I can reproduce the problem by doing the following:

Start a new FL Studio project
Add Spark plugin to a new channel
Disable 'Host' option (I use the FL Studio sequencer)
Load the kit "Dub Trip"
Click 'Bottom' and then Library from the bottom panel
From the Dub Kit project drag pattern A1 onto the Spark channel in the pattern window of FL Studio.

Now I have the MIDI notes which will trigger Spark ready.

Playback of the pattern works fine. However, if you click File -> Export mp3 file / wave file, the resulting audio file has some major timing issues. If I record the audio with FL Studio's audio recorder Edison from the main mixer channel, there is no such issue.

Hope this helps!

Hi Kevin,

Did you have any 'luck' in reproducing this problem?

Regards,

Martin
