An annoying bug and problems with Ableton Live
« on: July 24, 2011, 03:31:56 am »
The following bug has fallen on me. :-[
If I play a pad / instrument at 9-16, sometimes the kick from pad 1 fall out!
Then I need to load the kick drum new into the pad/instrument 1.
I am not sure what's up then with the kick drum in Pad 1?!  ???
This reminds me of the Jomox XBase 888 or 999, which had also such crazy bugs!
But those are analog! Please remove it!
That way you will get it, right?

Also Ableton Live Crashed sometimes while driving down after working with Spark.
The support from Ableton writes me that lies at the Spark! :-\

I use a PC with WIN 7 (64Bit), Quad Core 4 x 2,8, 4 G Ram

Hi keplinger,
if you can give me some step to reproduce your issues, it could help me to find the problem.

thanks

All I can say is, if I use Pads 9 - 16 (for example Instrumentl 9 or 14), then the bass drum
(Pad 1) is gone.
I can not hear the bass drum no longer, without I would have changed anything.
This is strange, I have to load them again...
This happens in the middle of working on a beat with many instruments (2 - 3 hihats, snares, claps, etc.)
That does not repeat after I've loaded the bass drum again and played the second time the same instrument (Pad 14) again!
I do not know it sounds crazy...

This reminds me of the Jomox XBase 888, which also had a similar bug.
If you have programmed the hihat in the XBase, the kick drum has shifted.

To the crash with Ableton Live, I can only say that it always happens when I close the current live set and the Ableton Support wrote me that the Spark makes the problems...
That does not happen often and I can live with it...

I have the same problem with Spark in Logic. After few minutes playing the base drum mutes (pad1) and i have to reload project.
