V Collection?
« on: July 02, 2007, 10:32:45 pm »
Harmony Central has an article on a V Collection (all the V synths in one package) but there's nothing on Arturia's site about it. Supposedly it is to ship on July 4 - but no store seems to have a mention of it either. Vaporware?

Of course, I just augmented my Vintage Collection with the Prophet V and Jupiter 8V at normal retail price, but oh well.  :?

Vincent,

will this be appearing on the Arturia online store soon?

I already have the Mg Modular V and CS80V products, and would like to order the V Collection with any applicable discounts (it will make a very suitable birthday present to myself).

It's on Sonic State now too. Why do they (Sonic State) bother posting a link to this website for more info when there is none to be found? I'm curious about what kind of pricing/discounts will be given to registered users.  :?:  :?:
G5 Dual 2.3
OS 10.4.8
Digital Performer 5.11
Live 6.05
MMV 2.0
ARP 2600V
2408 MK3/MK1 PCI 424

Just checking against the price I can get the V-Collection at my local dealer, I think I will have to buy ity outright as, even if I get a third product then take advantage of the discount it will work out more expensive.

So, question; under the terms of licensing for my existing CS80V and Mg Modular V, could I sell them on, to recoup some of the cost?

Yes, but you would need to Contact Arturia to unregister the Serials of your old discs, so the new user can register them.....and then buy the whole V collection without any rebate for previous versions...

True, however it would still work out cheaper even if I gave them away!

Yes I saw that.

Just purchased the V Collection. The included plugins are awesome.

But there was no CS-80 disc in the box, and registration is down at the Arturia site. There was a CS-80 install on the Mg Modular disc for some reason, but it did not work. I have all of reg#s on the "credit card" included. Not sure what to do. I've made the retailer aware.
Any ideas, please post.
Thanks in advance. jack
