Using MiniMg V with Adobe Audition 2.0
« on: March 08, 2007, 03:31:51 pm »
I'm very new to music editing, and I'm wondering how to record stuff from the MiniMg using Adobe Audition 2.0.  I've done some searching in the forum, and from what I can tell, it looks like I'll have to open miniMg as a vst plugin from within Audition?  I've poked around audition and haven't had any luck figuring this out.  In an earlier post someone mentioned a vst wrapper, is that something I need to use?
I currently have a keyboard midi'ed into an m-audio usb interface and then out to an amp.  The m-audio interface (it's a fast track pro) is set up as the default device for audition.  I can can midi control the miniMg standalone with no problems, but of course when i try to start up miniMg with audition running, i get a message about a conflict and have to switch the drivers for either miniMg or audition.
I like audition, but I'm really just wanting to record the miniMg, so any general suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks very much.
