Using Padkontrol with Spark VDM question
« on: February 01, 2014, 07:31:32 pm »
Hey, I'm using a Korg Padkontrol with multiple drum vst's and have a quick question regarding mapping in VDM. I can open a kit in an instance of VDM and remap the pads to how i like it on the padkontrol. thats all good. the problem is, when i open a new project and a new instance of VDM, the map is totally gone. i have to remap all over again. this has kept me from actually using the VDM which totally blows cause i really like a lot of the kits there. I can save scene sets in the padkontrol for addictive drums and everytime it works without issues. same with battery 4. This surely must be user error right? If i save a kit with all the mappings the way i like it in VDM as the default kit, all it does is open the kit and not the pad settings.

Can someone help me out here? This is possible right?

Cheers.

all those infos about how you've mapped your Spark are stored in midi.prefs  file.
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Spark
or
library\Arturia\Spark

Try to make your mapping in standalone first.

.......testing.......
