Is it possible to plug a tap tempo footswitch into the Brute?
« on: January 17, 2014, 08:23:36 pm »
For doing live sequencing, this would be more ideal because the tap button doesn't seem to be all that accurate. I experimented a little bit with one yesterday in the gate in, which didn't have an affect.

what is it for? setting the tempo, or stepping on the sequencer?

Tempo of the sequencer. I'm trying to avoid using Ableton for live, though we use a click track.

it won't work on the gate input. You would by to hack the synth and solder it parallel to the actual switch.
But it won't give you more resolution or accuracy than the actual tap switch.
