Sequencer problem
« on: January 14, 2014, 04:12:19 pm »
Hi I love this micro brute.  I bought it because of the sequencer.

however the sequencer now has problems.

it will record, but only one sequence.  meaning it will play back the same sequence on all 8 channels.  no matter which channel it was recorded on.

I tried resetting factory sequences.  but it still only plays the last sequence I recorded on all 8 channels.

Can you please help.  thank you in advance.

if you reset patters to factory, using Connection software. when in play mode, can you access the 8 sequences with the knob?

it sounds like your pattern knob is faulty or has a bad solder joint. I think you will have to deal with your reseller.

or maybe a loose cable connection, but it's quiet unlikely to happen on a Microbrute. You can still give it a look

even after factory patterns are reloaded it still plays the last sequence I recorded.  not a factory preset.

this machine is under warenty with arturia.

I would love to take it apart and look inside to see if I can see if there is a problem in there.  but would that void my warrenty?

also tech support did not reply to my request, its been a week now.  I sent them 2 requests.

at a loss of what to do hear.

if the machine is broken or faulty I would like to send it to arturia for repair.

not sure arturia will deal directly with you about the warranty. try to contact your reseller (thomann, shop, etc) in order to send them the unit back. i would not open it, as the warranty could be gone forever
