LFO as Masterclock
« on: January 22, 2014, 11:02:34 am »
Hi,

im in the search of a hw synth, which can route its lfo to its master clock of the sequencer. minibrute/microbrute seems dont deliver that feature. eg lfo - cv in

i need that feature to control the tempo of the onboard sequence. rate of 260bpm ist to little.

the sequential circuits pro one did have this feature (very fast rate knob)

exactly this is what i want to play:

Do Arturia have a solution?
With beste Regards
Johannes

The MiniBrute has an arpeggiator (with up to 16 steps of basic sequencing) with tempo controlled by a tempo knob plus note division knob. The triplet setting is quite fast on maximum tempo.
However:
The Tap Tempo button on MiniBrute can go past the tempo knob's range if you tap it very fast. I can get mine to go about as fast as Velmwend.
Harder to control accurately, but you can get the arpeggio to break the speed limit.

not sure if it helps, but cabling the LFO > CV-In sure is fun ! (e.g Square), you can then reduce the level (Amount or MW) to break the sequence
