Switching Sequence Note On/Hold through hardware?
« on: November 16, 2013, 05:40:48 am »
I have been having a blast playing with this awesome machine for the last week or so! Thanks to Arturia and everyone who worked on it!

I see that switching between Note On and Hold modes for the sequencer is currently only possible through the software. For the purposes of integrating the MicroBrute into live performances as a standalone synth, the ability to switch back and forth using the hardware's physical interface without connecting to a computer would be extremely useful.

What is the technical feasibility of something like this and is it possible we could see something along these lines appearing in future firmware updates? Perhaps something as simple as holding down TAP/RESET while using the octave buttons to switch back and forth between the two modes.

Thanks!

you can do it by sending the proper CC with any MIDI device.
The CC number is documented at the end of the Connection Software user manual
