Hi all,
the email has just been sent.
Do not tell me again that I don't work enough hard :P

Kevin

@ Kevin: Stable Version from 1.6.1.1 was at 2013-Apr-14  .  After 2 Month Hard Work you bring only an very Buggy Prelisten / Preset Sound Browser ( in new Window )  for V 1.7.  This is not Hard Work. I Think " Arturia " need more Personal for the Spark Software. The Spark /LE Hardware / Software is not Cheap. And the Arturia Spark User have many more Ideas then Arturia can bring with only one Coder / Programmers. Please contact the Management for this Solution.  PS: Sorry for my English. I am German.

Spark Software need: Integrate external VST Plugins. Prelisten Sound Browser. Sample Recording, More Tracks then only 16 Pads. Editor for Arturia TAE® analog synthesis to create own Sounds. What is Polyphonie ?? (Tune Mode) WHY THE Standalone Application dont work in Fullscreen Mode ?? I Pay 500 €

@Integratron: I have added you to the beta testers list.

@WOMXOX: I agree that the first beta was very buggy, sorry for that. We have been pressed by the time and did not test enough the beta before uploading it. BTW it does not contains only the new browser.

I have sent the What's new document to all the testers (including you I have double checked it).
It includes all the new features.

Hi Mauro,
I will add this into the bug database and try to reproduce it.
Please use the beta test email address to report issues.
It for more convenient for us to have only one place with all the bugs.

Thanks
Kevin

is the latest CDM build 33 or build 34.
I am liking the 10 band EQ. Sounds great for my kicks and snares.

Unfortunately we did not receive lots of report on this thread. Actually we only receive report from one people.
The only idea we have for the moment is that for some reason processing audio samples with long queue might cause problem. We have to get in touch with the guy who has sent report to ask him to try with cropped samples and see what happens.

For me the Library Window is now fixed, and does not crash anymore, but i have no access to my User Library. It can't find the samples, even if they are there.

Browser bug #1

User libraries do not load correctly.

1. Start the standalone spark
2. Start with the 80s studio kit
3. Click the browser knob.
4. Click and hold the browser knob to select the kits header and click to confirm.
5. Scroll to a user library with a custom photo.
6. Click the knob to confirm the choice.
7. Tap all the pads and they remain as the 80s studio kit.
8. Click the browser knob and select the same user made library.
9. You will receive and error for each sample that didn't load correctly. Click ok to go through the errors.
10. Wait a few moments and spark standalone has crashed.

Win 7 x64 / asio4all

This is working correctly now. Thanks.

Browser bug #2

Kick pad will not load new sample once sound has been chosen with knob. All the other pads will allow me to drop in the chosen sound through the knob.

Win 7 x64 / asio4all
1. Start the standalone application.
2. Start 80s studio kit up
3. Select the kick drum pad by pressing the select and kick drum pad at the same time.
4. Click the browser knob once to start browser.
5. Click and hold the browser for a few seconds and scroll right to the disk header.
6. Click the knob to confirm your choice of sample from your personal disk library.
7. Tap the kick pad and it still is the default 80s drum kick.
8. Click the bottom button of your spark GUI and select the kick pad in studio mode. Delete all layers of the sample to leave the pad blank.
9. Try to add a sample with the knob in the user disk library and tap the kick pad, there is no sound.
10. Hold select and press the snare drum button.
11. Click the browser knob.
12. Select a sample from user disk library and click the knob.
13. Tap the snare pad and the sample loads correctly.
14. Press select and the kick pad.
15. Click the browser knob.
16. Select a sample and click the browser knob to confirm.
17. Tap the kick drum pad and it still doesn't load the sample.

This no longer happens after build 45. Thanks.

I am having windows 7 issues too, but more with the browser. If I select the hi tom pad an d try to insert a sound from the disk submenu it will not load. Instead it keeps loading Aicd SD1. The funny thing is once the program bombs every other pad I select to drop samples on will also get acid SD1. I'm working on a test case to send support for this.
