It is not possible inside Spark Dubstep sequencer.
You can automate it in your DAW.

The parameter are:
Slicer Size (position on the fx pad)
Slicer Bypass (touch or not)
Slicer Effect (fx chosen)

See the attached screenshot to locate it in the list of parameter.

What am I doing wrong?   I write in automation by hand and tried to do it in real time.  Automation on these parameters shows up but nothing happens.??
The drums machine plays when I hit play on pro tools, even with no notes written on the instrument track its on.

I have the same problem, in studio one I want to edit envoloppes, set it to the three parameters set it on write. The patterns on my spark i have drag and dropped into studio one. Set the spark on host with a empty pattern selected. When is i press record on studio one the spark starts it records my midi on the fx pad but when i play back I dont hear nothing, also i set the parameters from write back to read.
Also how do I record the roller function in my DAW??

AU now magically works(plays) but no automation in LIVE.
I'll spend some time with it and try to see if I'm doing something wrong.

If I'm not I promise I'll push the issue.

Hi,
we are currently in a beta test campaign for an update of the whole Spark line.
If you are willing to help, this might accelerate the resolution of this problem.

simples guys!

create an empty pattern in spark, switch on sync and tempo, run empty pattern sequencer (not song) in sync.

then slicer fx controller moves on your DAW tracks work.

see how to do it in logic here (you need to setup the moves manually see):

roller mp1,2 & 3 doesn't work though

Hello Kevin!
You seem like a nice guy and really care.

Beta testing?

Let me tell you something please:
I've bought various Arturia plugs over the years and several of them are good fun AND WORK PROPERLY.

I bought 3(SEM, VDM , and spark DS) many months ago and NONE of them worked properly.
Because they were crashing my DAWs and/or unusable I uninstalled them and figured Arturia would fix them and I'd try later in time.

Well I'm trying again now many months(Yes many months) later and they still don't work properly($300 don't work properly). This is even though I'm running a system in accordance with with Arturia's system recommendations.
This is a joke at best.

When Arturia refunds my money I would consider being a PAID beta tester.

First of all I would say that all of our beta tester are paid customer.
If you don't want to be a beta tester I totally understand and can not hold it against you.
The only thing I can say you is to try 1.7 when it will be released.

Thanks Kevin,
Please don't take my words personally.
Please understand that I am not an Arturia hater,I want these products to work properly.
I hope you find people who have the time to make this stuff work soon.

Peace

Hi,
no problem. I have to tell you that we agree on the most important thing, we want these plug-ins to work :).
I think you wont be disappointed with 1.7.
