Title: Input question.
Post by: slusk17 on June 02, 2016, 04:23:14 am
Hello! I just got my Microbrute from Sweetwater today! I just have one question, is there a way to play the sounds from the Microbrute with all of the knobs and stuff programmed to some sort of daw without having to use presets on soft synths? Can you use it in Audacity?

The short answer to your question is "no".

The Microbrute is a performance-oriented instrument. You can trigger notes and sync the internal sequencer to MIDI, but any synth parameter controls will need to be done manually.

Well, that's not strictly true - if you have a MIDI to CV converter, you can drive some of the MB's parameters externally by plugging into the various MB modulator jacks.

But some things, like envelope settings, are manual control only.
