Title: How to make Microbrute sync its tempo with Garageband

Hi,
I've just bought a new Microbrute and have it hooked up to Garageband to record.
I know Gb dosent do MIDI but there must be a way to sync the tempo of the Brute to Gb's tempo.
Im just confused as the Brute itself dosent show BPM just Rate and tap tempo isn't exact science to sync perfectly. Can anyone tell me if this is possible in any way. I had a Monotribe last year and found a link somewhere that told me to record a track from the Tribe's OUT which gave a BPM click to work against. Can the Brute do this?

Don't know anything about Garageband but if it is of any help I just checked the frequency of "Gate Out" at each Rate setting at 1/16 step, that times 60 should give the BPM.

A really cool "hack" would be if someone made a little plastic overlay (like the dry erase plastic overlays that come with the MicroBrute for taking note of favorite patches) which had BPM numbers around the MicroBrute's rate knob.

There's no way to get the two in synch, unfortunately.

I've had this problem and realised there is no sync in Garageband. But before I shell out for Logic does anyone know if Logic will sync with the MB over the MIDI port - I have a Roland A-500 connected to the mac and the MB from the A-500 MIDI.
