Hi
Something I've been working on at home. Not sure if it's ok to post so please let me know if not.
A custom modification I made to a Keylab 88 controller to add a NUC PC, mic mixer and in-ears monitor all on shared power. Also some midi software to control the LCD screen and filter the controls.

If Arturia are reading, I love this keyboard. Please never stop making it.
I'd really like to work with you one day in producing a product which would be revolutionary.
Cheers
Ben

This is incredible!
I'd love to see a version with a mac mini inside running MainStage :)

Ben this is amazing....any chance of providing a "how-to" and some pictures of how it looks inside? Also a list of parts etc. I would like to undertake this mod myself!!
Thanks

Damn right this is ok to post here. If Arturia is smart, they're gonna put this video on the front page.
This is incredible. It's like you converted a Keylab 88 to a workstation with the openness of a pc.
Would you be open-minded to commissions?
Edit: I gotta ask, do you have any problems with cooling at all?

BINGO!!! Not sure how well this would work for me, I've got MainStage interfaced with Max/MSP, sometimes Ableton.
But I have to admit, this is pretty amazing. How well does it work for gigs? Quick Setup? Concern with interference or need for WiFi hubs?
-
Yeah I would be open to commissions.
For gigs it works well although i've only done one with it so far. Have another one in 2 weeks. When live I actually dont use the WIFI. A little risky I know.
Due to the minimal cables, setup is super fast.

Wonderful :) Gyro Gearloose!!!

Hi Ben.
Any chance you could tell me what chipset is inside the keylab 88?
I would like to write my own firmware for it.

Btw Ben... you youtube link is broken 😑
