Title: Syncing Minibrute to an external clock

Is it possible to sync Minibrute´s arpeggiator to an external clock (e.g. from a  DAW)? And if so, do I need to use the USB connection or does it also work via the standard DIN cable?
I have the original Minibrute, not the SE. 
Sorry for asking such a basic question, but I really couldn´t find a clear answer.

Yes it is possible, and you use the standard midi connections. Not sure if you can sync over USB.

Minibrute SE - but USB works fine for sync here!

Thanks for your replies, will try the sync via the DIN cable. I do not use USB, since it causes ground loop.
