Title: Sustain still not working properly?

I am somewhat blown away to see that even after all the years and complaints that there is still an issue with how the sustain pedal interacts with the new Mini V.  I am still getting an issue that when you release the sustain pedal in the middle of a held note, the note will cut off (if you subsequently depress the pedal again and let off on the note. the note will start to sound again).  This happens on the Mini V as well...and what's worse, every now and again, this behavior does not happen and you can depress and release the sustain pedal over over again while holding a note and the note WON"T get cut off.  This can't be how it is supposed to be.  Someone please tell me I'm missing something.
