Yes, great news indeed. Now, when is it coming out? And a question of lesser importance, how much?

People talk about a virtual Oberheim too, in development.
There's a problem with the OB license  :?

Reallly? How do you know they're working on it? That would be excellent! Last I heard either Viscount or Gibson had the logo rights....

I read it in a KVR post, a few months ago ;)

Yes and Gibson\Viscount didn't allow Arturia to use the Oberheim trade mark; isn't that a shame?

Just release it without a license and call it something else then, OB-V :) As long as we all know what is trying to emulate I don't care if they have the Oberheim logo or not. I don't get companies like that. If they don't want to recreate their own old products just let others do it and collect the license fees then. Roland is another one with lots of legacy products that people want  (Jupiters, Junos, SHs, XOXs, etc.) but they are not doing anything about it. They're good at going after people who tries though...

The license is a big problem with Oberheim, many users asked us to release emulations of one of their synth.
But don't hesitate to post others ideas, we are reading !!

1st Idea: Call it Miehrebo, using the same fonts.

Who against for Oberheim VST's, Viscount or Gibson?

so if needs sometimes to resolve with Oberheim,

Synthex would be good too, and make endorse
the SynthexV by Mario Maggi.

If you have some informations about him and what is he doing
now (or what he is about to do), send by e-mail to me please.

Recently we got back Dave Smith, if we could get back Mario Maggi
too, it would be paradise. :D

And not just Dave Smith, John Bowen is also back in action working with Creamware and created the all time software version of the Prophet 5, The Profit 5  :)

Allan Pearlman is also somehow related to the new TimeWarp 2600 softsynth...

We need to get Tom Oberheim back now...
