Title: V collection 3.0 separate component installation question
Post by: carlosrr on October 23, 2014, 06:51:26 pm
Hello all

I got the boxed copy of V3 at Guitar Center today but I had a strange question.  I already have Analog Lab and Mini V installed but can I install the components that I want only or does it completely install the entire collection as the the install guide implies.  I want to avoid any screw up as I already have a license for Analog Lab and Mini V and do not want to create conflicts.

Cheers and thanks

Carlos

No problem. When you install Vcoll3 you can select the components you want to install.
Just remove from the list the one you already have.

Hello again

Ben, many thanks for your response.  But, now I have another issue.  I mirror my PC setup, which went fine, with my Mac.  After running the disk, with an install fail, extracting the VC3 package fail to my Mac desktop, which also failed, and then turning off my ESET antivirus and again failing to install, how do I proceed?  I see Arturia has a demo, so can I use that dmg file, and use the serial number/unlock code from the DVD disc cover?

Appreciate any advice

Carlos

Hi carlosrr,

What is your OS ?
We know that's you can have such an error with Yosemite because of the embedded install of Elicenser.
Have a look :

Hello again

Well, with support from Arturia, I got it installed on my Mac, but only Analog Laboratory is not working.  I do not see an update so wondered if that older type would not work at all with Yosemite.
Cheers and thanks. and apologize for my panic :)

On my side Analog Laboratory works in AU with no problem on live 9.
Could you tell me more about your problem ?
