Title: Complaint: No Velocity Support For VCA?
Post by: Suntower on June 10, 2014, 09:03:41 pm
I've also sent this to tech support.

This is more a complaint than anything else. I am pretty annoyed that, after all this time, you guys STILL do not properly support Velocity on many of your plug-ins... such as Mini V.

The routings options (when you open the top) -should- allow for Velocity to be routed to the VCA output and -smoothly- control the signal output. The only option 'VCA AM' and it is very uneven in its response.

Yes, I know these were 'Classics' with no original velocity sensitivity, but you've added LOTS of functionality that is not on the original. I see NO reason why you couldn't add that small thing as standard on ALL your soft synths. It's so basic, I couldn't believe it wasn't there when I went to try this... first on MiniV and then on other Arturia VSTis like Prophet.

It seems like you're at the end of life with these plugs, but this should be fixed before you give up on them. It seriously takes away from their usefulness... at least for me.

You do so many things so well. But this is DISAPPOINTING for 2014.
