Title: Square modulation bleeding into triangle Metallizer?
Post by: LRZ on June 06, 2014, 03:23:25 pm
Hello there!
I experimented with the triangle wave a bit and encountered some odd behavior:
When ONLY playing the triangle wave with the Metallizer slightly turned up (9 a clock will do) and the pulse width of the square wave being turned all to right (square wave all down in the mixer section!) the ENV int on the square acts almost half the amount on the Metallizer ENV int!
This isn't much of a problem to me, because this unwanted modulation can simply be nullified by turning the right amount of the Metallizer ENV int into the counter direction.

I guess this has to do with the fact that both modulations are tied together in the LFO section.
But odd it is none the less.

Can anybody replicate this on their MiniBrute, or is there something wrong with mine?

just tried it out and the env amount from the squarewave does indeed affect the metalizer, quite wierd yeah

seems that turning the pwm knob from 0 to max is about equal to turning the metalizer knob about 1/4 up
