Title: My first Minibrute adventure: Arturia Dreams
Post by: SoundsByJB on June 01, 2014, 10:42:04 pm
Hey guys,

New here, also new to the Minibrute and analog synthesis ;P

Have the device for two weeks now, but today I really sat down to record some stuff. This is the result, all you hear is done with the Minibrute and Memory Boy Analog delay, recorded into Reaper.

Let me know what you think!

Cheers,

JB

just wanted to say i listened to it an thought it was great!

that delay sounds great, and i liked the timbres you used. really set a nice overall mood.

i LOVE the snare sound, if you could share a pic of that patch it would be really cool :)

also, reaper ftw :)

Thanks man! The snare is based on the patch described here: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-electronic-music-production/692661-arturia-minibrute-70.html I just added a litte bit more sustain and to get it to sound that 'verby' the trick is to hit it short instead of pressing the key fully.
