Title: Ripped Arturia software on ebay
Post by: nothanksmate on July 04, 2012, 11:09:42 pm
I've sent Arturia messages about this in the past and never even got a reply, now I can't even get their 'contact us' feature to post my messages. Regardless of all this the same individual is selling multiple copies of what appears to be Arturia soft synths for just a few GBP on ebay UK. To be honest, Arturia's software is too expensive anyway, especially when compared to the excellent and decently-priced Mini Brute hardware, but the ridiculous security measures has always put me off of buying anything of theirs, so perhaps if people are selling ripped copies of their products then I've little sympathy, I just hate seeing people (consumers) get ripped off. I've reported this seller to ebay many times and they do nothing, I guess they're earning money out of it anyway.
In the unlikely event that anyone wants to either do something about this, here is a sample: Item number: 221064428116

That IS naughty....clearly Arturia CS80V....

Even though he doesn't actually advertise it as such...?

Bet he got the V collection off BitTorrent...?  ::)

Ebay should show a little more responsibility...

But as you say, they're earning from it, so........ >:(
