Title: 8-Voice Programmer Issues
Post by: CC4 on May 10, 2012, 01:39:53 am
If you make a change to one of the steps in the 8-Voice you can never set it back to zero.  You can only choose +1 or -1 in the step.

This can produce undesirable effects in a percussive patch, for example.  Say you want to alternate between SubOsc and Noise during each step and want one step silent.  If you accidentally dragged in that "silent step" you can't return it back to zero and are left with either a tiny SubOsc click or Noise click.

If you right click you can change the parameter plus there is a "clear" option.  That "clear" option doesn't seem to work however.

Double-click on the step (in the Barlines / value area) to reset the offset to 0.

Ah, sweet.

So what does the "clear" option do?  Can't seem to get it to do anything.

It seems that it s not possible to disable any voice in the programmer. The manual says we can but it's not very clear, and the 1 to 8 button do not seem to work.
But i've seen in some factory presets some disabled voices...

It seems that retrigger mode doesn't work properly too (with lfo 2 too)... i have to restart my host many times to have the right sync (for example with sharp lfo's).

Am i the only one to have these problems ?

And, in the affectation order list there is a "reasign" mode wich is not mentionned in the manual (french), where can i find what it is and the way it works ?

Apart from that, the synth sounds wonderfull,

config :
mac pro,  os 10,6,7
pro tools 8,3

7/20/2012 :
finally it seems that i can disable voices by dragging an automation for each voice i want to disable.
In PT i use the plug in automation dialog.

But i still can't click on the 1 to 8 buttons and can't control them with a controller (at least in PT).
Weird issue ???

Hi fabien,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
We found what was the problem. It will be fixed in the upcoming bugfix update.
