Title: Laboratory Vs V Collection
Post by: Derm on January 15, 2012, 05:19:10 pm
I have the Laboratory. If I buy the V collection, it gives me a visual of each synth and much more editing options. Will I have more patches or are there any other advantages to owning the V Collection if I have The Laboratory?

Yes, of course!

You'll be able to use and edit all the presets of the individual plugins in the Laboratory. They are much more then the 3500 Sounds you have now.
I own both and I can only recommend to do so, because it gives you a lot more possibilities and flexibility. Have a look at this thread -> Solutions! (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=5322.msg17512#msg17512).
Of course there are still a few things that have to be improved -> Features We'd Like To See Added! (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=5946.0)
but this team (The Laboratory + V-Collection 2) is really one of a kind and absolutly amazing!

Here is somthing you should really love me for!  ;D
Arturia Extende Demo (60 days for free!) (http://www.beat.de/arturia)

ACHTUNG: Die Aktion endet am 31.12.2011 <- This is not true, it's still working!

The serial is working for the whole V-Collection 2 (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/v-collection/intro.html), The Laboratory (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/ALE/intro.html) and the brand new Oberheim SEM V (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/oberheimsemv/intro.html)! You need to download and install the latest Updates (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/downloads/updates.html).
Go and support Beat Magazine (http://www.maclife.de/beat-042012) and buy the PDF-version (http://www.maclife.de/service/pdf-shop/beat-magazine/beat-042012) of the mag!

Don't forget to applaud for me if these tips were helpful for you!   ;)

Best regards

Manuel
