Title: How it sounds:

The square wave is beautiful.  Listen to preset M.L_SQR-01.  When you hear it you will think "Lucky Man," especially on low notes.

The CS-80V sounds very good.  The envelopes are snappy; the oscillators and filters sound like hardware to my ears.  That it responds to polyphonic aftertouch is major.  I don't yet have a keyboard that generates it, so I sequenced a 3-note chord and simply drew in poly AT swelling in and out for each note at different times.  Having vibrato and volume under polyphonic control is a thing of beauty.  In this regard, the CS-80V is about the most responsive and expressive synth I have played.  And the interface is a work of art.
