Hi,
Been mucking around with the MB today - managed to get something along the lines of the "laser sound" from Oxygene Part 2. Attached is a link to photo of settings - (imgur). I also generated two samples - one using the Memory Man to get an analog delay effect. The other using Ableton's "Ping Delay" to get a stereo effect - which kindof sounds closer to the real thing.

Let me know what you think :)

Nice!
This is one of the sounds I alway try to create on any new synth that enters my home studio.
The first synth I made it on was a Yamaha PLG150-AN inside my CS6x (my first real synth).
I also did it on my MiniBrute, but wasn't so successful as you.
Through the years I learned that there are more routes to this sound.
On the PLG150-AN I came pretty close using the self oscillation of the filter.
With your patch as a guide I will try it on my Mg Sub Phatty.
For me this is the ultimate synthesizer sound, but for me Oxygene is also the ultimate synthesizer album.

Thanks!
I'm thinking of grabbing an AN200 as I've always wanted an AN1x (they share the same board) - but can't justify another keyboard in my studio - as i already have the CS1x among them. It will be interesting to see if an anologue modelling synth can come up with the goods.
The get the slowing effect - you twist the rate knob from a bit over half way to abit under half way in an anti-clockwise fast to slow motion. It takes a little to create - but you'll come to it quite fast.

I also consider an AN200 but an 'empty' to put one of my Plg150-an in.
With all the changes in my studio I don't use the PLG's very often, which is a pity because I think it's a good synth in itself.
The lack of direct control is a disadvantage and maybe a AN200 will solve that.

Well, you've probably just tipped me into buying the an200. I had one which I was watching - and now just decided to get it. Will let you know when it gets here and how it goes :)
I actually want it for some other reasons - but hey, this is also a good reason right? (hehe)

I have put the laser sound in this track: https://soundcloud.com/ranzee/nebulish
I ended up getting an AN200 btw :)
