Title: MicroBrute Connection Software Issue
Post by: kcross on December 25, 2013, 08:37:15 pm
Hello, so I got my Microbrute as my very first synth about 2 weeks ago and I haven't had any problems with the hardware itself, but I can't seem to open the MicroBrute connection software on my computer. I have tried to open it with my MicroBrute connected into my computer via usb-usb but it won't open on my mac. I have a macbook from 2009 and I'm running the latest OS, Maverick. I'm also having issues connecting it to ableton live 8 to use as a midi controller. The other night it was working fine as a controller but stopped within an hour or so. My computer doesn't seem to recognize any external hardware which seems strange as well. This could all be related to the quality of the usb cable I'm using, and like I said, this is my first synth, so I could just be making a rookie mistake. Hope you guys can shed some light on my problems, thanks.
