Honestly? Nope.

But, a minikey MicroBrute being true and besides the extra CV connectivity showing up, that interesting "Sub > FM" + "Overtone" knobs and the Sequencer instead of an ARP, I kinda still wish that the word "BIg" in the teaser means that this is a BI-format product, as in, a new synth presented in 2 formats: minikey & keyb-less compact desktop module :)

That would be a nice companion to an existing MiniBrute, besides being a perfect solution for those wanting a MiniBrute but not wanting to deal with another 25key on their setup.

...and, if the module version had an extra Aux/Filter ADSR to compensate for loosing the minikeys, that would be extra special ;)

Edit: btw... is this one photoshopped too? ;)

Microbrute appears to be real. If it's real, these are going to sell like hotcakes and put a real analog synth into a lot of new hands. Very exciting!

However the teaser page's quotes seem to imply some kind of big step forward into new sonic territory. Unless that mod matrix is somehow more flexible than it looks, and the FM/overtone knobs have some wild new effect on the sound - it does seem like a tiny version of the Minibrute, with a lot of missing stuff, plus a few extra features. But it could be very wild! And the sequencer seems tempting.

For now, I'll stick to my MiniBrute with a Pittsburg Modular Synth Block (running from the CV outs back into the external audio input) acting as my second oscillator. But if the audio demos tempt me and the street price is really US $299, then it's a mandatory buy.

A "TheBrute" 2 OSC mashup of Mini+Micro (FM/AM/RM, Arp+Seq, ModMatrix) 37key, slightly under the price of current Mini+Micro, would be nice, btw :)

Edit: And another pic from "the interwebs":

hmmm... I'm starting to like this little fellow. Is it battery operated too? That would be cool, eh :D

I have a feeling this could dominate the analog synth market.

Hopefully Arturia steps up their game with the production and distribution, and we don't get a Minibrute repeat situation!

Also, I like that this synth could be abbreviated µB.

So, I guess that knob is "Sub > Fifth" instead :)

oh and... unexpectedly, here's Arturia's own video showing the "little" fellow ;)

LOL, rcmusic, did you even checked my link on the previous post ;)
That link was the video, eheh! ;D

(unless you're trying to tell us something by linking to that specific video frame, 88sec in 8))

Anyway, here's another interesting thing to look for, very soon (https://twitter.com/sonicnick/status/393415411091640320):

Yup, looks like a very fun synth, that's for sure! :)

That Step Sequencer and Mod Matrix... kinda make me wish to see a MiniBrute II with these too ;)

Loved the Glen Darcey and Yves Usson - presenting MicroBrute (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IAtacjHSrw) video too, btw :)

arturia, could you please do a video showing the micro- and the minibrute playing together, to show what you can do with both maschines?

This synth is cool I've been playing it for about two weeks at work and have sold about 4 of them.

Is that good?  How fast do new synths usually sell?

Funny story - I bought a MicroBrute at Guitar Center and when the salesperson saw that it was only $299 he said that he would buy one immediately.  The other salesperson said that *I* should be behind the counter since I made a sale so fast.  Ha ha.  (I eventually exchanged it for a MiniBrute, though.)
