Title: The Laboratory *and* MiniLab together active - which one in focus of AnalogLab?
Post by: vaikl on October 01, 2013, 01:51:57 am
Having both of them on OSX 10.7.5 on an iMac 27" late 2009, using Ableton Live 9.0.4, added MiniLab as the only one controller on MIDI channel 1 on a MIDI track with AnalogLab 1.0.5, The Laboratory only as an external MIDI controller for a desktop synth, but always connected via USB to my iMac. All products are on their latest software/firmware versions.

AnalogLab opens permanently with The Laboratory as the startup controller (ok, it was the first combination for 2 years). I can change it to MiniLab, all good. When I put AnalogLab's window into Live's background (disable it) and then re-activate it, The Laboratory is still the active, checked controller device, even when I've checked MiniLab in between or from startup. I have to manually change the controller to MiniLab in the preferences. Can't be true...or it's the fat mexican for french people...

Does anyone at Arturia has forgotten to include a algorithm which could *change* the preferred/preconfigured controller to standard?? It's a shame for a known music company that such simple options are not adaptable when launching new products...
