Hi,
I've been using Spark 1.7 (SparkLE controller) with the new Logic Pro X for the last week and I'm having a fairly reproducible crash when closing a project while the SparkLE controller is connected to the AU plugin. Closing the project with a Spark plugin loaded on a channel strip, before the plugin has been opened and a connection with the controller established seems to be ok.
I know Logic X is new a has its bugs but it seems to be Spark specific and the Spark AU has never been terribly stable in logic 9 anyway.
I am using Spark 1.7 with Logic 10.0.1 on OSX 10.8.4. Are the crash logs generated by Logic of any use here?

I have a problem to deactivate the private port in LPX.
When I do it like in LP9 and hit the SparkLE pads I hear some sort of sound like a pitched feedback.
Is there a trick?
How did you guys disable the private port in LPX?
Thanks,
Florian

Hi Florian,
TBH, I do not find the environment Window in Logic Pro X. How do you open it?
Concerning the problem you have, I am not sure that it comes from the private ports.
Is it happening only with the hardware pads or can you reproduce it also when you click on the GUI?

You can open the environment window in LPX with command+8.
But I solved the problem: I had to disable the port of the instrument I created to route the SparkLE in.
So, now the private port is disabled.
Thanks.
