Have been having several crashes with Analog Lab; had the original 1.0.3 and just updated to the latest version of 1.0.4 and still getting crashes. This is in standalone mode (also happens in Pro Tools 10.3.6). I get the error message attached in any module after a few minutes of playing. It can be simple stuff I'm playing or a little more complex but this pops up at random times and when it does I have to quit the program and restart or else I can't play anything. This is on my 2011 27" iMac 3.4 GHz quad core i7 32 gig ram and Avid 11 Rack as my audio I/O

I'm having a few issues with Analog Lab in Logic X that also appeared in Logic 9 with 1.0.3 and 1.0.4.
1. Logic crashes when changing plugin to a different plug, including a different Arturia plug. Oddly enough, not every time!
2. Crash on quit if I quit Logic with GUI open.
3. Some amount of crackling using knobs on the main GUI if synth GUI is open for editing.
I'm sure Arturia is hard at work on a new version, but just wanted to bring these to designers' attention. A.L. is still pretty buggy.
Mac Pro 8 core, OSX 10.8.4, Logic X 10.0.1, 10 Gb RAM.

I've had similar crashes to yours but in PT 10.3.6 and would have to Force Quit PT by way of right clicking the PT icon in the Dock and selecting Force Quit (would have to do the same if running standalone to get AL to go away). And if I had a crash like this I would very soon have another unless I rebooted the computer. Not good.
This is software that is not ready for prime time and I get the feeling we're paying beta testers. One good thing with AL is we get to hear and play some of the synths we don't own.

Hi
If you want to try we have currently a 1.0.5 on it s way, contact me using PM
It seems to be a very good progress and fixed issues for known users.
We are really working hard on the things you mention
Please try to keep a different topic for different issues.

I only asked in the other thread for you to look at this because I didn't know if you would have even seen this thread. As to the beta I'll have to give that some thought.

No problem don't worry.
I hope the beta will solve your issues.

I'm having similar issues, posting in case it helps track any bugs down. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, Intel i7 3770, Intel motherboard, MOTU 424 soundcard, 32 GB RAM. I have V Collection; all the other Arturia plug-ins are working fine. Analog Lab stand-alone crashes on start-up, no error message, just an empty window that doesn't go away until closed. In Cubase 7, the Analog Lab window appears with the right graphical content, but freezes immediately after loading and crashes Cubase as well.

I'm really thinking Analog Lab, even the beta I tried, is not ready for prime time. Luckily I only spent $19 US on it :-[

Amongt many other issues (see separate post), I have the same problem and it tends to be with SEM and Wurlitzer. Is it a coincidence that these are the only instruments that I do not own separately in V Collection?

That could well be although that shouldn't matter. Are your crashes happening in standalone or in your daw? Mine happen both in standalone and PT. I tried it a couple of times in Pro Tools 10.3.6 and it crashed PT so hard only a reboot would cure it and that's why I won't ever use it again in PT.

The crashing is in standalone mode. Apart from being unable to map transport controls for Cubase (as described in the manual), I have not ventured beyond stand alone mode. There are just too many bugs that inhibit the basic functions. I have not looked at it for a couple of weeks because I have lost patience. I await the upgrades and if they don't improve things, it's going back to Guitar Guitar for a refund. To release a product with such untested software, hoping that people will be seduced by the superficial gimmick of making new sounds on the fly is verging on criminal.

you are talking about the MMC messages ?

Im definitely getting the crackling when I use the plugin in Logic Pro X. Pretty much on every sound I use it "pops" and "crackles" - no snaps though ;)

You can try the 1.0.5 version:

So this is a release version and not a beta? I tried a beta version of 1.0.5 and had multiple issues which hopefully got fixed.

This is not the beta version.
This is the full version
:)

I have 1.0.5. Guess what. Its still buggy crap and crashes. Arturia clearly could not care less about their customers beyond ripping us off for a dollar
