Title: Switching between Absolute mode and Relative mode- I can't. No option in MCC
Post by: Charles R on July 30, 2013, 09:25:57 pm
For the Encoder Problems, this can be related to the "Relative MODE" versus the "Absolute MODE"
To switch Between them, you must do;
Click on Shift+1 = Absolute MODE
Click on Shift+2 = Relative MODE

I want to do this and I have tried several times as well as tried with the MCC. However, my MCC doesn't even have the setting options. It just has Standard and Hold. Is there another version of the MCC that I am not aware of? I put in a ticket and have gotten no response yet.

mmm, it looks like a firmware not updated issue.
The best is to flash to the latest firmware:

Well, the option field is context sensitive: it does offer "Standard" and "Hold" for pitch bend, but with knobs programmed into "Continuous" mode, it provides "Absolute", "Relative #1", "Relative #2", "Relative #3" options.
