... but not to me ???
I'm running the iMini app on an ipad Mini.
How do I get rid of the red stripe at the top of my ipad mini from saying iMini(recording)?! (please see attached photo)
It's there all the time when the iMini app is closed and I just can't get rid of it!!
Thanks!
Steven

Have you tried clicking home button twice then closing Imini? looks like Imini is still running and needs closing..

hello! to start I want to say I've found a solution to this problem!
after searching and searching I found the way.
1 - you must close the application
2 - then we appear that damn red sign above that says iMiniRECORDING
3 - we press the home button twice. and we are aligned down the apps.
4 - we press imini and keep it pressed until shake
5 - there appears a (-) in the top right. played there and ready.
This is called the force close apps
I hope they serve and sorry my english I'm Argentinian
bye

OK, that works but doesn't answer why is was still running. I re-opened the app and the same thing happened again.

Do you run any background audio recording app like Audiobus or Loopy? These apps are responsible for the red menu bar and sometimes they stop other recordable apps from closing by putting them into sleeping state. To get a real close action, search for such apps and deactivate "play in background".
