I like the mb a lot and it is fun to play with. But, I use a little trick that I saw from a youtube video of Ujiie-san: I stick a usb drive underneath the back end of mb to lift it up at an angle. It gives better access to all the knobs and fades while sitting. Many Mg synths come that way for a reason (with a tilted/angled panel): it allows better visual information about your settings. This is especially important when you don't have presets and even one click of a knob can change the timbre by great extent. I hope designers of Arturia will take such change into consideration.
I wonder if there is anyone else out there who would like to see an angled control panel instead of a flat surface? What is your take?

i've actually thought about it a lot....if it went say 90 degrees, i feel like the minibrute would have a similar vibe to old soviet synths such as the Aelita: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_KdPQ_GkY0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_KdPQ_GkY0) ;D
i think a problem is where the mod /pitch wheels are...but as long as that part did not bend i think it would be great.
imagine nice ambient led lighting or backlighting too? perfect for live shows

Hey guys, here's what I did...
I got me a cheapo laptop stand from Ikea! Very useable size and perfect tilt angle for me.

I agree - would be better to have a tilted control panel on a future synth.

Your picture made me getting one of these stands today.
Perfect solution for me and for only € 3,99.

I found this Stand whe I went to Sam Ash. It's made by QuikLok and the MiniBrute fits on it perfectly. I screwes two aluminum angle peices about 1.5 in wide to the front so I could do a steep angle. I play the MiniBrute from a Korg Kontrol49.

nice find. Looks like a good stand, nice to have the full range of angles.
I'd imagine the full vertical tilt might be useful for making connections, if it's easy to adjust the angle. That and for being compact when just sequencing.
