Quite a few users were asking for the Brute to be able to create MIDI clock out (myself included). If that could be done, it would greatly add to the Brute's abilities for many of us. Any chance of this in a firmware update?
-
Surprised it isn't already in there. Had a disappointing session today with a friend. :-[
Agreed. Let's add this!
Bump.

yeah that is needed ... hope a Frimware Update is in the way ... Minibrute starts to get overtaken by MicroBrute ... hope Minibrute scene gets more support soon.
cheers LT

firmware update...
???
;D

not sure how related it is, but if it can be knocked out in the same upgrade, it would be cool if the arpeggiator triggered midi note on/off data when it's engaged.
I've owned this machine since 6/12, and I can honestly say that I am still learning how to use it and patch it. I don't see this ending any time soon, so Arturia, we promise the updates won't go to waste :)

I second that request, CLOCK signal should be send on the MIDI out!!!
For my use it would even remove the need for MIDI thru as long as an incoming CLOCK signal is repeated on the MIDI out (CLOCK is the only signal I need to send THRU)

My day today was kinda ruined when I found out that this didn't work. I thought my other gear was broken at first.
Arturia, it's really uncool to leave out simple stuff from a midi output like that. That'd be like leaving out note data and saying "oh, it's meant to just send midi control data for your knobs!" We don't want some rationalization from a designer perspective, we want the utility that you imply it to have by using terms like midi and internal sequencers with tempo control and such.

+1 MIDI clock out (and passthrough)
Shouldn't be that hard to implement ??
Yesterday, I was able to turn my Minibrute into a Minibrute SE with a simple syx-file in a very easy way :

just saying...
